#TrailScape

To kick off the launch of Merrell's new high-tech hiking boot, the Capra, we developed the first walk-around Oculus Rift experience and activated it at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. Visitors to our venue had access to various lounges, an open bar, and were able to sign up for and participate in our #TrailScape experience. After putting the Occulus Rift headset on, visitors were transported from Park City, Utah to the Italian Dolomites. Fans, a rope bridge and stereoscopic sound added "4-D" elements that helped make the experience even more believable.
